This project was born in the midst of one of the darkest moments I’ve ever faced. Picking up my camera became an act of resistance. Using elements from my "Day of the Dead" altar, I sought to transform pain into image, and silence into symbol.

It wasn’t an exercise in perfection or technique, but in honesty. Each photograph reflects the attempt to look at the world again with care, even when the light felt distant. More than a visual record, these images are a form of reconciliation: with my creativity, with life, and with myself.
